Tyler Edward Colquitt was the kind of young man who brightened any room he walked into. Born in Atlanta and raised in Arkansas, he was known for his big heart, his warm smile, and a sense of humor that made people feel at home. He believed in hard work and loyalty, and he never missed a chance to lift the people around him a little higher.
A Scholarship Of His Own
Long before this fund carried his name, Tyler earned a scholarship of his own. A standout four-year starter at Pulaski Academy, he was named All-Metro Sophomore of the Year and earned 5A All-State honors before heading to the University of Arkansas on a full scholarship in 2014. He knew firsthand what a real opportunity could do, and that is exactly what we hope to pass on.
His Light Lives On
Above everything, Tyler cherished being a father. His son, Axel, was his greatest joy, and his faith guided the way he treated everyone he met. The Tyler Colquitt Scholarship keeps his spirit alive by helping students chase their dreams and build a better tomorrow, just as he did. His light lives on through every life we help uplift, and you can be part of that.
